How does online CPD work?

By registering and paying the annual subscription fee, you'll get access to a number of courses. These courses are only accessible by logging into our secure member portal. You can view and download the courses and when you are ready, you can proceed to the questionnaire. Online CPD has a number of great benefits, including reducing your carbon footprint, saving you time and travel costs. 

What is in an online CPD course?

Each CPD course contains an article and a questionnaire. In each questionnaire, there are a range of multiple choice questions as well as select the correct answer questions. You will have two attempts to pass the questionnaire. 

Can I download the CPD course?

Yes. Our CPD Course material is downloadable for you to use in the workplace, or to take offline. We encourage the use of as much material as you can find in our resources in each lesson.

How long do I have access to the CPD course?

You have access to the CPD Course for as long as it takes to complete the course. 

Do I get CPD points for completing the course?

If you have read the course material you must proceed to the questionnaire where you will get two attempts to pass. If you pass, the system automatically generates a CPD certificate and saves it to your profile for future reference. 

What is the CPD vault?

Our CPD vault is a great added benefit of registering with us. You can easily access and view all Certificates you have obtained. You can also upload Certificates received from outside events, storing them in one secure and central location. 

Where is my certificate loaded?

Your certificate can be found in your Profile which is accessible from the top toolbar of the site, once you are logged in. There is a specific tab in your profile labeled ‘My Certificates’ and it is in this area that all certificates are stored for you to download when you require them.

Additionally, at the completion of each course, a green Certificate button will appear, allowing you to immediately download the certificate. If this doesn’t work, it may be due to your popup blocker on your web browser. In any event, they are stored in your profile.

What about my certificate I obtained at an event?

If an event organiser makes use of our CPD tracking software, your Certificate can be found in your Profile which accessible from the top toolbar of the site, once you are logged in. If you are not a member of MYCPD, you can make use of our 'Find My Certificate' search function found under the 'Help' tab. 

Can we sign up as a group and get a discount?

Sure thing. Email us on Provide us with the number of people wanting to register as well as their name, surname and professional number and we'll get back to you with our best offer. Only groups of five or more will be considered. 

Can I buy a single course?

Unfortunately not. For a once-off amount, you get an annual subscription (12 months access) where you can view and take all the courses loaded on the platform. We have clinical as well as ethics courses available. 

Do you store credit card details on your site?

We do not store card details for clients. We have strict policies for this and all cards are transacted through our payment gateway provider NETCASH who are compliant to the standards. To learn more about them, visit their website at

What payment methods do you accept?

We have a number of online payment options, including debit or credit card, fast EFT, cash payment options by downloading a barcode that can be scanned and cash deposited at a number of popular retailers. We only accept EFT deposits in exceptional circumstances. To request payment by EFT deposit, please email with the subject line 'Bank EFT request'. 

Who do I contact with payment issues?

What is your refund policy?

Membership fee refund requests will be allowed where:

  • An applicant has requested for cancellation of the application for membership which is still being processed, or
  • Funds that have been wrongly deposited or transferred to the MYCPD bank account by a registered person or public, provided that such person provides proof of such payment; and
  • MYCPD® has received the funds and those funds have been entered into its accounts.

 Refunds are made into the account from which the money was received.
