# MYCPD

> MYCPD® is a South African online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) platform for health professionals. Medical doctors and GPs, psychologists, medical technologists and emergency care practitioners earn accredited CPD points by reading clinical and ethics articles and passing short online questionnaires. A 12-month subscription gives access to at least 25 clinical and 5 ethics points, and every certificate is stored in the MYCPD CPD Vault. MYCPD is a product of the E2 Group (E2 Solutions (Pty) Ltd), which has built CPD and membership management software since 2000.

- Who it is for: medical doctors and GPs, psychologists, medical technologists and laboratory professionals, and emergency care practitioners (basic, intermediate and advanced life support).
- How it works: subscribe, log in, read an accredited article, then pass its questionnaire with 75% or more (two attempts). The certificate, with the points earned, is e-mailed and saved to your MYCPD profile. Articles can be downloaded. Online 24/7.
- Points: 30 CPD points a year (at least 25 clinical and 5 ethics), the annual total the HPCSA asks registered health practitioners for, including at least 5 in ethics, human rights and health law. Each point is valid for 12 months from the date of the activity. Articles can carry more than one point.
- Prices (12-month subscription, from the registration page): Medical R2,056; Psychology R1,712; Medical technologists R1,219; Emergency care (EMC) R1,007. No extra cost per article. Single courses are not sold. Groups of five or more can ask for a group offer (matthew@e2.co.za).
- Event certificates are free for delegates: conferences that use MYCPD's CPD tracking, including events facilitated by Discovery Health in partnership with MYCPD, record attendance and load the certificate to the delegate's MYCPD profile at no cost. Delegates who are not members can use Find My Certificate with their professional number (for example MP1234567). This free event service is separate from the paid online CPD subscription.
- CPD Vault: every certificate earned on MYCPD is stored in your profile, and you can upload certificates from outside events to keep them in one place.
- Payments: debit or credit card, fast EFT, or cash at popular retailers using a downloadable barcode, processed by the payment gateway Netcash; MYCPD does not store card details.
- For organisations: a customised, white-labelled CPD platform for practices and healthcare employers that manage CPD across teams.
