How do I add a CPD certificate? 

Members can add additional CPD certificates earned outside our system by logging in to your member portal and using the ‘Store my certificate’ functionality.


Once the member has selected the correct navigation, a screen will display as seen below wherein the member must complete the fields below and click the blue Save button:

  • Title – The title indicates what the event was called or registered as with the accreditation body
  • Accreditation body – this is accrediting body who has issued an accreditation letter in relation to the CPD activity 
  • Accreditation number – this is the accreditation number awarded to the CPD activity by the accreditor
  • CEU level – There are three levels of CPD or CEU activities: those with non-measurable outcomes, those with outcomes that do not necessarily constitute a full year of earned CEUs, and those associated with formally structured learning programmes. A CEU level will be granted to the CPD activity by the accreditor and will be set out in the respective accreditation letter.
  • Category – for the most part, the category selected here will either fall under category 4: Personal ethics or category 3: Individual activities. When selecting the Personal Ethics category, the points assigned for ethics for the CPD activity will display under the members ethics point summary column on their profile. When selecting the Individual Activities category, the points assigned for general or clinical for the CPD activity will display under the members general point summary column on their profile.
  • Number of points - this is the number of points awarded by the accreditor
  • Event date - this is the date the event took place
  • Venue - this is the venue that the event was held. In some instances it may be a virtual event in which case the venue could be recorded as online
  • Do you have a certificate - the member can untick or tick this box accordingly
  • Upload - the member may wish to upload a copy of the certificate issued to them for having attended the event
